Milan Salvatore is named after my youngest son, Milan. It isn't a name we chose because it sounded right. It's the name of the person I'm building this for.

A letter from his father
When you become a father, you start thinking about what you will leave behind. Not money. Not things. Something that shows who you were, and what you believed was worth doing well.
Milan is my youngest son. When I started this company, I gave it his name, and the moment I did, everything changed. It stopped being a brand. It became a promise to him.
Every pair that carries his name has to be one I would be proud to hand him one day. So we make them the slow way: cut and stitched by hand in Europe, from leather that softens and deepens with age, in small runs, by people who take their time. No loud logos. Nothing made to be thrown away next season.
Some days that's harder. It would be easier to make more, faster, for less. But one day he'll be old enough to understand what his name is on, and I want him to see patience, honesty and care in it — and to know it was built for him, one pair at a time.
